OUR NAME
2004, Dawn and Leu Savanh purchased the historic August Ebers family homestead on Old San Antonio Road in Kendall County, Texas, only minutes from the restaurant. Mr. Ebers was one of the original settlers of Grapetown in the Texas Hill Country, arriving in 1860 from Germany to establish the first dairy in this part of the country. The property was held by the Ebers' estate for over 100 years until 1966. In honor of the Ebers' family contributions to the development of the beautiful and bountiful Hill Country region of Texas, Dawn and Leu named their restaurant after August Ebers.
